So I ordered a MacBook Pro on June 19 and was expecting to receive the item on June 26 but all he'll broke loose. I check my order status and find out that I need to contact cs, once I do they tell me that I need to verify my information with them. So I verify and they send it off to a different department. I call them just to check if they did a day later and they tell me that my address is does not match the one on my debit card, that's fair because I moved a few months ago but haven't changed my address. So I call my bank and they tell me that I have to wait 24-48 to wait for my address to update. So I call qvc and let them know that you can ship to the address I have on file, they tell me that they cannot do that and started arguing with me about it. So after a few minutes of arguing he says he'll call me back. He calls me back and says that my phone number was not verified. Now I'm really angry, why could they not have told me this before so I can give them all the information. So after he's asking me for a utility bill to verify my information, I'm only 20 years old and don't have one. I asked them if I can send a bank statment since it verifys the same information I gave them. They tell me it won't, now they ask for the last 4 of my social security, I give them all of this information and now they say they have to call and see if the old number I gave them matches my banks. This number is my old house so now I had to run there which is about 20 minutes away but I got there in 10. They called 2 minutes after I came and verified everything and said I was ok and that my order would be released. 30 minutes later I find out that my order has been placed on a back order? QVC you guys are horrible, I don't know why I went through all of this to have a back order on my computer. I only ordered the macbook here because if I buy it in full I'll be broke so the easy pay would come in handy. Worst expirence I've ever had before.

SO you are angry at QVC for in essence "protecting you from fraud" for not doing what a responsible adult would do when they move? I don't know what state you are in, but there are laws in my state about not notifying certain institutions and more importantly the DMV about address changes. Maybe you should be mad at yourself and not QVC, because hey, I know you are only 20, but your hand cannot be held all throughout life.

Best Buy offers great financing. Apple dot com usually offers really good financing as well. I see no reason to buy Mac products from QVC.

I was about to suggest buying it directly from Apple also. Still not too late to do so, since it's on back order. Just cancel the QVC order and get it elsewhere with whoever provides you with the financing arrangement that best suits you. However, not sure that the address issue might not also be the same problem with the next company. Good luck.

I would buy from Apple.com. You can get financing.

1 QVC overcharges for their Apple products by adding on additional items made by secondary vendors.

2 It's not QVCs fault you didn't update your info with your bank.

You expect them to ship you an $1800-$3600 item on your word that everything is OK even though your records are scr*wed up? How do they even know you are you? You came to the wrong place for sympathy.

Beware of first time posters ranting about QVC. They are usually, if not always, trolls.
