MAC OS HIGH SIERRA v.10.13.1

Just downloaded the update.  Took about 45 minutes from start to finish.

I'm curious. What advantages are there to this upgrade? I have OSX 10.12.6.

Re: MAC OS HIGH SIERRA v.10.13.1

I have 2 MacBook Pros.  My "elderly" one operates with Sierra.  The update for that one is shown as 10.12.6.  It didn't seem to take veru long.  In fact, I had a message indacitng that it was unsuccessful, though it seemed to go through the rest of the process, and it shows that it did ultimately update.

My new Mac has High Sierra.  No problem with the update, though it seems like it might have taken longer than 45 minutes.  Hard to tell, since I wasn't watching it consistently.

Not sure if there's an update for the iPhone.  Haven't received any notifications for that.
