Lucky me, I got a lemon :-/

In looking to upgrade my desktop computer for perhaps an IPad, laptop or whatever, I let the sales hype fever take over and on the last day the computer "month" I broke down and ordered an HP 17.3" laptop. After DH (who is in IT) downloaded what needed to be done, I have played around with my new toy only a couple of times. Well, today as I was looking at QVC of all websites, the site faded and the screen went right to the wallpaper. Once I giggled the curser around did the page appear again. I am so disappointed words cannot describe. I've literally used the thing maybe a total of 2 hours if that.

I don't know what to do, send it back to replace it with another or just get refunded and forget the whole darn thing. I do have an 8 year old desktop that runs decent, I don't think it's even 1GB of RAM, lol, it's that old...but hey it works. Anyone else get bumb laptops?
