The only problem bringing it to an unaffiliated repair shop would be to void a warranty if you have one. If it were me, I'd probably look into shipping it to one they recommended and go from there.

Try restoring it again.

How old is it? I don't have much faith in repair shops. You might be better off buying a new one. Costco always has some priced reasonably.

The "stuck on one screen that I can't get past" is interesting. Without being able to see your screen, my suspicion is you're stuck on the BIOS screen. If so, you can navigate around that screen with the arrow keys on your keyboard and the enter key. Most newer BIOS let you use a mouse or touchpad to move around the BIOS but some older ones still require the use of the arrow keys.
For the computer to be stuck on the BIOS screen typically would require the hard drive to no longer be the boot drive. That could be due to a corrupted setting or a failed hard drive. BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System. It's what your computer goes to first upon powering on. It looks to see in the BIOS which hard drive to use to load the operating system. If there's not one there, it stays on the BIOS screen.
I don't know the BIOS Lenovo used in your PC, but there should be something labeled "Boot Priority" "Boot Order" or something like that in the BIOS. If you can find that and make sure your hard drive is listed and is first in the list, you should be able to get past the BIOS screen if the hard drive is still functional and you put it first in the boot order. There will be an "Exit" option in the BIOS, likely a "Save and Exit" option. Click on the "Save and Exit" after restoring the hard drive to first in the boot priority and you should be good to go.
If it is a simple BIOS issue, a good repair shop should be able to get it up and running in minutes. Well, seconds if they're familiar with that particular BIOS and that's the issue. It could also be a failed hard drive and that would need replacing. Since it's still under warranty, sending it back to Lenovo for repair would be your best option there.

Amazon and Walmart both are having big sales starting on the eighth so it's not a bad time to buy a new computer if you want one.
