Just got an email advertising the LG Stylo 4.  I've been a tracfone user for over 20 yrs and love it!  I prefer LG over Samsung.  I just purchased my 2nd Fiesta (1st dropped on concete and cracked the face - now I have a face cover!)  Anyway, I'm tempted to go for the Stylo.  The minutes are more than half the cost.  Anyone have the Stylo?  If so, can you post your review?

Hi there!

There are a lot of reviews of the Stylo 4 on Youtube. This is carried by other carriers. I know this is a pretty large phone. I am familiar with the Stylo 3 and this one is larger. I know it has a plastic back, so you should  get a case for it.  I highly recommend you check out the Youtube reviews and you'll get the good, the bad, the ugly.

I can't review the phone at all but I was shocked by a $200 tracfone from Q.  I've just never seen one that pricey.  However, what I will say is I was always an LG user until I got a Samsung!  I will never go back to the LG phones again.  I'm anxiously awaiting the next Samsung TSV!!

Yes, INXS, I was taken aback by the price as well!

@In-x-s What do you prefer about Samsung as compared to LG?  I've loved my LG phones and then had to bite the bullet and get a Samsung because I desperately needed to upgrade.  I've adjusted, but I still kind of miss my LG phones.

@cddh  I also got this email today.  I like the phone's specs, but I think it's way too big for me.  If anyone buys it I'd love to read your review!

@Stargazer77I don't know, it's hard to explain LOL I think the Samsung just feels like a more substantial phone.  I like the actual buttons on the bottom vs the onscreen buttons and the camera on the Samsung just amazes me.  The screen also just seems more clear and vivid than my LGs ever did.

Whew, I thought I paid too much for my Stylo 3!  The price on the Stylo 4 is more than I would be willing to pay for a phone, but did want to let others know, the Stylo 3 is the best phone I've had in the many years I've used Tracfone.

Specifically, I get better reception with the Stylo 3 than any of the other LGs I've had the last few years. And I really love the stylus pen. I use it for typing my text msgs because using fingers frustrates the heck out of me with the constant errors, even with this large phone.  It is so clever the way it is hidden and stored inside the phone. Stylus is good for games too.

Edit forgot to mention my other favorite function--fingerprint recognition. I use that for turning on the phone, very convenient.  I see the Stylo 4 does fingerprint and also face recognition.  It looks like quite an up to date phone.  It would be nicer though if it had more memory.

Do you have the speech to text option?  I think I'm going for Stylo but need the speech to text function I now have?

@cddh, I've never used Text To Speech, nor do I know what exactly it is, so I don't know if my Stylo 3 does it.   But I read most of the manual of the Stylo 4 and that phone does have that feature.

I'm impressed with the features of the Stylo 4

I love my LG Stylo 3 and it does have speech to text.  I initially had ordered the Samsung but returned it, I prefer LG phones.
