I have purchased this TSV at the end of October and just wanted to activate it. I have not been able to do it on line, so I called the number provided but did not get a real person to talk to.
I am not at all savvy with these gadgets and understanding these messages. Does anybody know how to get a hold of a life person? I did read in the reviews on QVC that numerous people spoke to a person.

I was sure there should have been a thread before, but could not find it. I had called that number and followed what they told me to do and they said all is okay, but it wasn't. So I called again and finally talked to a real person. He asked me to take the battery out and put it back again. At least the phone came on, but it still didn't work. He then worked on his side and told me to check the phone in about 4 hours and it should work including it should have my new minutes. So, now I hope it's going to work.
I get so frustrated if something like this doesn't work.

If your phone still doesn't work, you might go on Tracfone's Facebook page and send them a private message. I've used the FB reps before, and on a thing or two, they were very helpful...on other things not so much, but I have read here on the boards from a few who feel the FB page reps are the most helpful of all. Please get back with us and let us know how it goes!

I had trouble with the Tracfone rep too and I went on Tracfone.com and did the chat for help and he had me going in 5 min. Hope the chat will help you too. I love the phone.

Hi Ladies! Thanks for all your tips. My phone now works, but I did not yet get my 1200 minutes, but they said it could take up to 4 days for some reason. Will check with them again tomorrow.
I find it much harder to maneuver in this phone than my little one from last year. But it is more sophisticated, so I guess I will get used to it in time. Hope I really like this phone so I can keep it for a few years.
