L G 800 Cell phone question.

Ok, I have a question for you all about this cell phone. Since these days when you buy something you don't get an instruction book, you are left on your own to find information. I discovered when my phone rings to a known caller, that the call is automatically "rejected". So the call goes into voice message and I have to retrieve it. For the life of me I don't know what or how this setting got changed to do this. Where do I go to find the setting to not reject calls? This is very frustrating. Help!!! I'm pulling my hair out here. Smiley Sad. TIA.
