Thanks for all of the feedback, I ended buying the Signature Paperwhite during Prime Days. So far, I like it.

I have the Paperwhite and loved it before the last update. I can turn the pages my tapping the page, but sometimes it takes 2-3 taps to get the page to turn. Books download quickly, but since the update, it takes me a while to find them. I'm going to watch the specials around Thanksgiving and try to get one that has the page turn buttons.

@1mamaj, I also have a Kindle Oasis (9th generation and has the page turning buttons). I've had a problem with it since the last few updates. It's slow and takes forever to download books and documents. That's why I bought the Signature Paperwhite. I loved my Oasis, though. I read somewhere that Amazon was going to release a newer version (the 11th generation) soon, possibly November. I've thought about taking my Oasis back to factory settings and starting over to see if that helps. Good luck in whatever you decide! Sometimes in the effort to "improve " things, they just make it worse.
