Kindle Fire vs. Ipad Mini for reading books

Thinking about getting a Kindle Fire 7. Would I get a better reading experience for my book reading? My Ipad Mini's print is too small for book reading because enlarging the print takes away from words on a line (less words). Using my reading glasses helps but after a few minutes, I feel a little dizzy.
