Kindle Fire question

I have two of them on order since I am returning the Pandigital SuperNova. Can I register them both to the same Amazon account without both of them sharing the same books/apps on the device? I hope that makes sense. I've read the manual and that doesn't seem to be anywhere in there.

Is there a good FAQ site or good Facebook page that discusses the Kindle Fire?
