Kindle Fire HD 8.9 found wanting

During the TSV segments we were told that the Kindle can do everything an iPad can do except take video. WELL, it can't take photos either. The camera lens only points toward you for activity such as SKYPE. Fine it that's all you want. But geez why would I just take photos of myself. There is no way to point and take a picture of your grandkids playing since there is no lens for you to look through. WOW QVC you missed on that information. Yes I guess you can download a software to move photos from your computer to the Kindle but geez louise to take them on the fly like the iPad, not happening.

Still wondering if I want to send this back.
