Re: Kindle FIre Tablet Yay or nay?

Yay or nay, and why?

Thanks!

As an avid K/Fire collector, I definitely have an opinion...

Since s/he is already familiar with a Fire, then the 8” or 10” are safe bets.

Add a cheap Extended Warranty on the 8” though.

How old was the Fire? Do you know if it has the “newer” (‘15) Operating System installed ? Because the older OS, with the Carousel on the home screen, was much simpler to use.

But, I recently bought the basic Ipad (On Sale/$249) and I have not picked up any of my Fires since.

I never thought any other tablet could Top a Fire (for my needs), but

I  “bit the Apple”  and absolutely love the solid, smooth performance.

Theres a 30-day grace period, so you can’t loose.

Dont forget to check the *GIFT* box before Placing Order, unless this person is welcome on your Amazon Account.

good luck

I have had a 8 inch and a 7 inch tablet a few years ago. I would recommend she become a Prime member so she can get the benefits. I say "yay" to prime but it is a good budget tablet with or without Prime. [It got good reviews on u2].

Big time Fire user and I'm a senior citizen;  based on my experience, your relative will love it (but the 10.5" it you can!
