Further to an earlier post.. buying Kindle for boyfriend, extensive business traveler, esp. overseas, who also has Internet access on his Blackberry and laptop..
Just want an e-reader, for reading, for him to have access to many book, since he's been going through his paperbacks fast and is often caught in hotel or plane with nothing more to read.
Does he really need 3G option, ie. I should spend the $50 more, in order to download from anywhere? Or can't he already just have a lot downloaded already before going away?
$50 not a deal breaker by any means if worth it...am I missing anything here in why I should include that in the purchase vs. just the Wifi version. I'm leaning toward it only so I "cover it all" but not sure what the actual use of 3G is besides being able to download new books from anywhere? ...but can you just fill your library ahead of time?
Please anyone who can advise...and I can finally purchase this thing! (my eyes are getting crossed reading stats and reviews!!) Tks!
