I bought an LG Tracfone from QVC a few years ago. Just wondering if the $100 one on HSN today (12/09) is a good buy with 1350 min?

Yes, it seems to be a very good deal for $99 with 1350 mins. I paid $120 for $1200 mins last year.

Don't forget you get triple minutes for life...a car charger plus a
home charger.....and free shipping....great deal as far as i am concerned...
I told my brother about it...he has been waiting for QVC or HSN to have a Tracfone TSV/TS....

Make sure you can use this phone running on Verizon wireless network. They have a checker on the site.

Yes, I think it's a great deal. The past few TS/TSV's have been for 1200 minutes and their price ranged from $100-$130. Like another poster mentioned, make sure Verizon is compatible in your calling area.

It's a great deal ... I order a new tracfone every year and roll over my existing minutes and time. I currently have the LG android from last year ... love it.

Looks pretty darn good to me. Latest Android operating system/quad core processor, and 1350 in all 3 buckets? Only "iffy cons" I see? If you Skype front camera not that good. If you save a lot of pictures/high graphic content, it has only 8g of internal memory, but it does have a "micro SD card slot.
Doubt you can find a better equivalent package cheaper.
E.T.A. The plan with this phone uses both the Sprint and Verizon Networks and for most these combined Networks should cover "your" area of the country.

I make very few calls and mostly carry the phone for emergencies. I don't want or need the latest technology. I usually get my phones on HSN when they're on sale, use the minutes on my current phone and toss the new one. I usually pay about $70, making this cheaper than buying a year of service.

So, are you saying this IS a good deal or not? Like you, I only need a cell phone for emergencies.

Can my phone number be the same as my landline phone?
I don't know if this is good deal or not. I haven't had a cell-phone since 2000 -- and you know what that looked like. LOL!
