Is Sling TV still a good option?

I have friends that "cut the cord" and they got You Tube TV or HULU.

 

I don't see any more commercials for them lately either...

I use Sling and it's okay. The interface isn't the best, but it works. I pay $45 a month for my package and I get the channels I want.

I've used Sling for several years but recently got POed at them because a TLC program i wanted to see was only available to be recorded, not viewed.  So I cancelled and signed up for YouTube TV.  I like it much better and I get Smithsonian and Animal Planet with all the free recording I want.  Sling gives you 10 hrs of recording lifetime and then there's an extra charge.
