Is FedEx delivery always take this long?

I do lots of online shopping through QVC and other places and I guess just by chance all have been shipped UPS ir USPS but the TSV HP laptop I got is coming FedEX. I live about 45 miles outside of Baltimore, MD amd if the delivery date is correct it will take it as long to get from the sorting facility there as it did to come from China, Alaska, NJ and then to Baltimore. Unbelievable!!!
