I just got iOS8, and can't figure out in Safari how to close a webpage. In iOS7, there was an x on the top left, but now there is none. What do I do?

Re: Ipad help needed: Safari

Click on the double squares in the upper right corner (sorry, I don't know the proper term for that icon). It will reduce the webpage you were viewing and you will then see the "x" in the upper left corner to close the page.

You can also touch the search box and it will grey and you will see an x to the far right end of the box. Touch the box and the page closes. Then you will see your favorites in boxes that you can open. Hope I described this ok.
