Wow! None of that posted...(?) I hear you guys laughing! Smiley Happy

Try something simple. (Remember, take out the spaces I added before and after the "p" and the "/p". I had to put them there so the website wouldn't try to interpret the code.)

Example:

< p >This is my first paragraph.< /p >< p >This is my second paragraph.< /p >

~~~~
eta: < p > without the spaces tells the system to start a paragraph (it also will make the text larger)
and
< / p > without the spaces tells the site to end a paragraph
You are good! You are also a mind reader! I clicked quote on your first reply to me, and that is exactly the question that I asked, but none of it posted. Do I add the code for italics or bold with the < p >? Or separately?
I've attached a pic w/ the code. This is what it looks like when typed out:
Paragraph
Paragraph italic
Paragraph bold
Paragraph italic bold
Be very careful with the symbols. You can't substitute the """ for the "/".
Thanks for stepping in, sidsmom! I'm working on some other things and have to keep leaving the computer.
Thanks! I've spent years programming (and debugging) software. sidsmom's Post #62 is the perfect example of how to insert the additional code.
(btw: These are all good examples of how tedious it can be to write software code. If you get even one character or symbol wrong, it can ruin an entire program.)
Re: Ipad Help on Making Paragraphs Pls
Thank you sidsmom and dooBdoo for all of your time, help and patience! I really appreciate your kindness. I can't get it to work when I want to either bold or italicize a word(s) within the paragraph. I must have missed that info. I will go back over it again and I hope to set up the shortcuts when I'm not as sleep deprived. Thanks again!
