I hope someone can help with this issue. Recently my email images on my iPad are no longer showing. I've had the iPad for over a year and never had this issue. It's only on my Comcast emails, when I open them, the place where an image would be is blank, it just shows a box with a thin grey line around it. This just started happening about a week ago, before that it worked fine. I also have a desktop and the emails are fine on that computer.
I called Comcast and they told me this is "outside the scope of my regular internet service" and wanted to charge me a minimum of $50 to help me resolve the issue. Naturally I told them no.
The "load remote images" button is turned "on" on the iPad. I haven't done anything different or loaded anything on either machine. I shut down my modem and router and turned them back on thinking that would help and it didn't.
When I go on the iPad to look at my Comcast email, I go through their website and use Xfinity Connect, not the Xfinity Mobile app.
Any suggestions on what else I can try to fix this? Thanks so much!
