Ipad 2 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX

I have the ipad 2 and have been intrigued by the Kindle Fire HDX 16GB 7" screen. I am wondering of anyone has them both and if you do are your glad you have both or is it one in the same? I am a prime member which I love and worth it. Thanks!
