I wasn't trying to download, but accidentally hit the button and it did. I had it on my computer for the last two days and it was a mess. I didn't like the look of it and any sites that were of a security-nature had a major problem with them. One of our banks actually called us to see what was going on. (Thank you to them for the security and customer service. Kudos to them!).
It changed my email program and I couldn't use various features.
I tried to uninstall it myself doing it the normal way. It did not work. I finally found a way to do it and uninstalled it perfectly with no ramifications. Whew!
I'm back to normal.
In my humble little opinion, I would not download IE9 (beta). Merely a suggestion.
