Did you know the new HDX has talk text? You can just read what you want it to type. That is so much easier that typing something long. When you go to type and the touchpad comes up, just touch the microphone and it will tell you when to start talking. To add punctuation, you just say it where it should go. For instance you would say the following sentence: I hope you find this information helpful period

Also, both the Kindle HD and the Kindle HDX has Swype. That was not a typo and I didn't mean to type Skype. Swype is a type of typing that once you get use to it, you will do it exclusively. You will need to practive a bit, but it is much faster and more accurate on a touch keypad.
