I’m not happy with the new upgrade. I have all my passwords on an app called Lockbox Pro and I cant get into it because it says the app developer needs to be contacted because there is no update available for this app.

Ohmygosh, the 11 is VERY different. I put it on one of my iPads to see, and I can't figure anything out. I can't do anything, can't close an app...bunch of basic stuff.  I really am not in the mood to spend hours and hours trying to figure things out. I'm glad I didn't download it on my primary iPad.

Previous software upgrades have not been so substantially different.  This is like Microsoft making huge Windows version changes, which I never found better in any way, but had to devote many, many hours to learn.

OK, just moaning...I realize one of these days I will have to stop life and totally relearn iPad use.  Grrrrrr!

I got the update on my IPad and I decided after reading some of these posts and reading the agreement I will not download my  IPad. I only  have a few  more months with AT&T contract and my IPad2 is old anyway. So, I will just plug along until it slows to not working at all. I do not like the idea of a third party agreement,[among other thing in the policy I do not like.] I really like my LG K10 phone better anyway newer model [2017] and it could do anything the IPad can do anyway. I prefer android better then Apple products anyway.

I agree! It is like windows 8.1 mistake .. I can understand updates but, why do we need updates such as these? I wish they would leave well enough alone.

This site tells you how to use the new 11.0.1 update. Excellent site for this. Just look for the part that has the update on this site if it doesn’t automatically come up. I have been using a few days and never knew a lot of this.

Click on the video and if it fast forwards through them WAIT and it will stop and then go at a regular speed as it is opens like that for some reason. Well worth checking out.

Face it tech likes to stay cutting edge, they have no interest in just same old same old.

@JGalt

Thanks for the heads-up on this!  I haven't downloaded the new update yet.  So now I know to wait to install it until I have some time to get familiar with it.

I did briefly look at a couple of sites about the changes in iOS 11, and it does look like there are some things that are done differently in this.  Heck, I still haven't gotten used to iOS 10 yet!
