I was quite surprised as I've never shopped in WalMart...I'm going over there today to check it out but pricing is best online, I believe....

Just make sure if the electronic you order from Walmart's comes with all you need [adapter /charger] some do not and have to be purchased separately. Just check what comes with item when shipped. I was just online and checked and most do not come with everything when clearance. Just a heads up.. and a buyer beware. {#emotions_dlg.glare}

I'm looking for the same item and have been shopping it...the best deal I've found for Mini Ipad is Walmart!!

I usually buy Apple products direct. The reason Apple gives the customer the latest software. I would buy an iPad Mini 2 32GB, so you have storage space with the iOS installed. You will have about 20GB of storage for your stuff on a 32GB tablet.

This is the main reason I stay away from Walmart.

Just go to Apple.com and click the link for ipads and look at the mini's. You can order directly from them.

If you want to save some money both the iPad mini 2 and 3 have the same chip. The only differnce between the two is that the 3 comes in a new color, gold, and you can use your thumbprint instead of having to type in a password (if you even use that feature). So no need to spend the extra money for the 3. They both have the same processor.

Re: I have a mini computer and laptop looking for a inexpensive Ipad mini to take to my office with me...any ideas?

I picked up the IPad Mini and Samsung Galaxy 7" tablet from Walmart today. I told the clerk I would "play around" with both and return the one I decided against keeping. The Ipad Mini was $219 and the Samsung was $179. Each came with charger and adapter. I'm inclined to keep the Samsung as I like the Android system and the Play Store. It also has a more comfortable "hand feel."

I got a $50.00 promotional Walmart cash card with the Ipad Mini that I will lose if I return it.

The clerk spent some time with me and compared and contrasted both tablets without giving me the sense that I was being rushed. All in all, a positive experience!!

You bought two tablets with full intentions to return one? Then the store has a "used" tablet that they can't sell for new. I think this is totally wrong.

Just mind boggling. I think this is one reason that many stores charge a restocking fee for electronics returns. To try and cut down on frivolous "purchases".

It is wrong. It is like buying a dress wearing it once to a dressy affair and then returning it with the tags put back on it.{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}
