I have an IMac that died today.....the apple store called it 'vintage', to me it was just broken in! I took it in for the 'diagnostic test'...they will get back to me in 2-3 days!
Anyway this is my problem....my dh and I own a small business (it's just the two of us, no tech person to call in from another office to help me), I work most days on the computer setting up form work, billing, quoting, etc. All my info is backed up so I am safe in the area, my question is IF the Imac cannot be fixed and I have to purchase a new computer along with updated software (adobe creative suite, which I know I must purchase) do the drivers in my large color copier, printer have to be updated as well so that the software can run?
I know that I will have to update the printer drivers for the new OS but I am not sure if I need to make sure or if it matters what my software is, in relation to printer drivers.
I hope this makes sense and if anyone has advice it will be greatly appreciated, this work day was not the best....I feel a large expense coming on and frankly our business is not in the position to be buying anything extra right now, thanks!
