I have ATT DSL and I just bought a ATT router.Will it cost me more to go wireless?

I have a modem and DSL but I want to go wireless so I just bought a router that's 6months old from someone,that they couldn't use anymore,for 30.00 I want to go wireless with this and I'm wandering if it will be more expensive or is it the same as the DSL monthly charges? Don't I just remove the modem and hook the router up and call ATT and get it set up??

Can someone explain this to me please.
