I am so disgusted after setting it all up but it is not closing windows and when I sign back on it takes me to the window that never closed.  The screen also grayed out for several sections (10 or more).  That is not a good sign for a new laptop computer.  It is going back to HSN tomorrow.  So I had to buy another one and will pick it up tomorrow in my area.  So sick of looking for computers, I can't being to tell you.

I returned a laptop to QVC last year.It was a real dud.I purchased one at Costco .It’s great. Costco also offers a free 5 year warranty & free technical support for the life of the laptop.

@NicksmomESQ  I wonder if these computers from shopping channels are duds and that's why they offers MS Office, Tech Support, etc.  This is such a pain.  I ended up buying it from Walmart.  I was everywhere Dell, HP, Target, Walmart and so sick of looking.  I hope this one works out.

I bought my husband a new HP in October for Christmas.  First one we had to return.  No problems at all with that.  Second one is perfect.  Such a great deal too.  From HSN

@Katcat1I can't speak for the computer you got, but I've used QVC purchases without issue for about twice the average life for a laptop - and I use my laptop for everything every day of the year.

 

I did buy my current maxchine locally - it's just okay, but I probably bought too cheap.  Also, I hate Windows 10 -  way too many advertisements, busy screens, and tons and tons of what for me are worthless functions.

 

Sometimes I can't even tell if it's my Windows causing the issues or it's the site I'm on.

KatCat1 did you purchase it from QVC initially?  I bought an HP from Q Christmas of '17 - it broke down/died 3 times in a year.  To HP's credit they replaced it the last time.  But the bad thing about buying one -anything - from Q is that their return window is 30 days - period.  On the other hand I bought my Dell laptop from Q in 11/09 and it's still working great.  I did replace the battery and power cord after awhile.  Good luck!

Good morning to all here! I am so sorry O/P for your bad experience with your Laptop computer. Nothing is worse then looking forward to a new device and it has problems right from the beginning. It has been my experience that shopping channels have sold dated devices bloated with software that no one will ever need or use. I always order from the source. I have recently stopped ordering tablets from walmarts and amazon because I have had problems with those device too.I wish you good luck with your new computer.

i returned a laptop last year to qvc . its was hassle free.
