@isaboo  That would depend on your needs and/or want(s).  Go on Apple's iPad & Air Pad website & compare the 2.  Look at their technical specs, accessories if needed & costs.

When you are ready to purchase, call the Apple Store & speak w/one of their sales specialists.  Tell them of your concerns & needs.  They will be more than happy to help you w/o any sales pressure.

These two tablets are great products, but the iPad Air has more features. 

You may want to do a Google search of the iPad Air 4 vs. IPad 8th generation. You will find many reviews and YouTube videos that may help answer questions about these tablets.

A YouTube channel "My Next Tablet" has information about buying tablets and Chromebooks

"Tech Gear Talk" on YouTube has Apple reviews.

How kind of you to include me in this illustrious list, @Lilysmom1.  Thank you.  I've received so much help, support, and learned so much from others here, and I really do appreciate them all.

The gardening and landscaping images, and other pix and info you share are quite wonderful, so I thank you for your valuable contributions and your unwavering spirit of kindness.   

When we listen to each other, when we share whatever help or information or lovely images we can...   that's when we're reminded that this truly is a "community."
