I Have A Question About Spam Email

I know sometimes emails end up in your spam folder that are not really spam and are safe to read. Usually if I don't recognize who sent me an email I delete it without reading it. I got an email Sunday it's from Administration, subject Emrys sent you a private message. I'm curious about it, is it okay to open the email and not click on any link in it, or should I just forget about it?

Doesn't sound like something I'd open.

@Jordan2  I open the email if I'm not sure it's really spam but never click on any links. I have never had a problem.

@Jordan2 Probably best not to. Even tho you're likely to be fine as long as you don't click on anything, by opening it you're letting them know that they've reached an email address that is being used.

@juperier, I am going to just delete it.
