I Could Use Some Tablet Help..Please

I want to get my 6 year old granddaughter a tablet....she loves my Nook Color...I have it loaded with lots of games for her....I bought the meep 7" that the Q has been selling...but when I read the reviews on this site...also Amazon and Toys r Us.. most of them are very negative....I know that will frustrate her as well as her mom....I know it would me, too...

Can anyone recommend an alternative....I thought she would like the Meep 7" because it can take pictures..and so much more then I have on my Nook....but from what I have read..its real slow...and the customer service is lousy...
