I have never been able to figure this out but would sure like to have this ability.

If you have a topic in mind, you can enter it in the search box on the left side of the screen. It will let you choose which forum. For example, in Recipe Swap, I can enter a word like "soup" in the box, and it will show recent threads that mentioned "soup."

If you're looking for a thread and can remember the posters' names who started it or participated in it, you can enter their user names in the search box, and it will give you a list of threads they've participated in. You can do the same with any item, name, or product.

If they have an index, I am not aware of it. The search box on the top left will look up a subject for you. I have found that it works best if I select "Forums" and type in the name of what I want to find. You can search for up to 3 words. I'm not sure how far back it goes.

If I replied to a particular thread I always go to ""My Activities"" and I always am able to find them. If you did not reply to the thread the only thing I can say is do as others have mentioned and use the search feature.

And IMO the Search feature is not all that helpful. It rarely if ever gives me current or recent info, but like Amazon's Search function seems entirely random, date-wise. It doesn't search for thread titles per se, it just searches for the word(s) you put into the search box.

Thanks wildcat fan sorry it took me so long to reply but have been out most of day.I will try that and see .thank you to Zhills too and to everyone else for your input.I will see if I can find stuff now.
