This is a moot point. Moving forward Windows 7 will not receive anymore patches. Microsoft only provides security updates to large  corporations that pay.
Most companies have moved on to Windows 10 or Linux.
Why would I feel safe and my bank is not using it?

My daughter came over this morning to install Windows 10 - the free version on my computer.  Took about 90 minutes and was successful, yay.  Interestingly enough I was still getting updates on my Windows 7 as of early this morning.  Surprised at that, thought they stopped updating 7 on the 14th.  Anyway, I now have 10.
