Amazon's Sidewalk becomes effective June 8.  If you have not heard, this new feature will help itself--from everyone who has Amazon electronics, e.g., Echo, Ring cameras and lights, etc.,--to portions of your Wi-Fi bandwidth to power their larger network for Bluetooth and 900MHz radio frequencies.  Ever helpful <tic>, without asking permission, this taking has been automatically switched on in the Alexa app of all Alexa users.

To disable:

1. Open the Alexa app.

2. Tap More in the lower righthand corner of the app.

3. Tap Settings. 

4. Tap Account Settings. 

5. Tap Amazon Sidewalk.

 6. Switch Sidewalk off.

Glad you posted this - I opted us out yesterday.  IMO it's very obnoxious that one has to opt out, instead of opting in, in the first place.

Yet another reason why I dislike Amazon.

This should be something you opt in to, not something you are automatically in and you have to opt out of.

Here is a link on how to opt out of it on RING devices such as the floodlight cam, spotlight cam, and spotlight cam wired.  Looks like the RING doorbell isn't an enabled device--yay!

Can Tile tracking devices also opt out of Sidewalk?  I haven't seen anything addressing that.

Wow!  I immediately checked my settings and Sidewalk doesn't appear there at all.  Anyone experienced that yet?

Thank you for this information.    This is the first I'm hearing of this.  The Sidewalk didn't show up in my account listings.   I'll keep checking though.  Again much appreciated.
