I was unhappy with the battery life on my new Galaxy s2. I did some research and found these tips.
Did you know that black wallpaper uses less battery life than a picture? I downloaded a free plain black wallpaper to use.
There are programs to save your battery. I have an android phone and I downloaded the ap called Juicedefender. It is free and works great.
The less icons you have on your phone the better. Those run your battery down also. I took off all that I don't use constantly.
I turned the brightness setting down to the lowest setting.
I have my screen turn off (black) in 30 seconds.
From just doing these things my phone battery went from 1 day to 2 1/2 days of use.
Hope that helps someone!
