How to make display smaller on laptop, help needed.

I have an Acer Aspire Windows 7 laptop. Not sure what I did but as I was typing, the display suddenly got bigger and it's a little too big. Would like to make it smaller but I don't remember how to do it. I must have pressed some key combination by mistake or leaned on a key or the touchpad inadvertently.

I know we have people on here who will be able to help me. I've done this before but I am drawing a blank now. Anyone know what to do?
