Hi all,
I am 99.9% leaning toward purchasing a Toshiba laptop. My last computer was an HP where the power cord broke off inside the system. Consequently the laptop is shot and all my files and such are on that system. Would it be impossible to transfer hard drive data from one system to another? I didn't know if it would complicate things by the systems being two different brands? Has anyone successfully done this? What would I need to do a successful transfer? I am being ambitious in this venture and wanting to do this on my own versus shelling out money for The Geek Squad or similar tech support help.
TIA for your help!
