You probably hit some keyboard shortcut by mistake. Many programs have keyboard shortcuts most people don't even know about. Sometimes I accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut that sends an email I'm in the middle of writing - bad news!

Here's an iTunes keyboard shortcuts guide. It's set for a Mac, but there's a tab at the top that lets you toggle to a Windows computer. It was updated in Jan 2014, so I don't know if these all still apply.

DH listens to the radio via his Kindle. Twice now, in the middle of the day when he's not home, it's started up playing something. I can't turn it off, the user interface is beyond me, so I just unplug it and leave it at the back of the wardrobe where it plays until the battery runs out. DH is a tech whizz and he has no idea why it suddenly starts up like that, with no one in the room. His best guess is that it does an update, which triggers it.

I can't explain the Kindle issue, but my iPhone sometimes starts playing music or launches other things when it's in my pocket. If I have the screen turned toward my skin and my pockets are thin, my leg can trigger things on my phone. It never happens in a coat pocket. It drives me crazy. I usually try to put my phone in my pocket so that the case is against my body and the screen faces outward, which prevents it from happening.
