How Many Times a Day Do You Have to Say

Alexa/Google, "find my phone"?  Is it just me?  Is it my MS/Neurontin brain that can't remember diddly squat?  I bet I ask Google 20 times a day, "Hey Google, find my phone" (sigh)

Never. I don't talk to any devices unless it's a phone with a human or their voice mail on the other end.

@monicakm

Never.  I have no use for Alexa.

I've found that it's best (for me) to have places where I'll only put things down ... like my keys, for instance.  There are only two places in my home that I've "allowed" myself for my keys to go.

Same with my phone.   My phone is only allowed to be in my bedroom, the living room or in my purse.  That's it, and it works very well

One other thing.   My phone is used for mostly phone things.   I do everything else on my laptop, and I've never misplaced that.

IMO, with devices, you need a system.

Never. Mine is always sitting on my desk.  When I leave the house I take it with me but it's in my glove compartment unless I need it.

My phone is always in my purse.  I only turn it on when I leave the house.

I have a landline....not used too much either.  I never hang out on the phone.

I use my iPad for just about everything.  I can even answer my landline phone from my iPad.  I leave it beside my chair in the family room and on the light stand at night.

Re: How Many Times a Day Do You Have to Say

I apparently have a different lifestyle and enjoy technology.   Surely someone here feels the same Smiley Surprised  No?  Oh well.  I live with my phone.  I don't play games but it's used to text with my husband's designer ladies to book jobs, text with my grandchildren and daughter.  It's a handheld computer and a camera.  I used to not use a phone as my camera but the quality has gotten good enough plus I no longer have photographer needs.  My Google screened devices play YT vids and I can ask Google anything from any room so the phone isn't really used for that unless I'm in my car.  I gave my Samsung tablet away when I started buying "phablets" (larger phones with tablet features).  I use it for Amazon if I'm not at my computer.  I use it to check on the dogs when we're gone or use it to check on them when they are outside and I'm in the house.  I use it with Life360 to know where my husband is.  Occasionally I'll even talk on it Smiley Wink

My phone and keys are in my purse unless I'm using them. Once I'm done using them they go back into my purse. I can answer my phone on my watch or iPad if I want for the few calls that aren't spam.

I don't have any Google, Alexa, Siri either.

My phone sits on my nite stand all day unless I'm going out.  I"ve got better things to do than chase after a device so I can post useless dribble all day.

Passive aggressive to others much?  Wow.

Does your "different lifestyle" include having a job, responsibilities...spending precious free time with friends, family?  Many of us have most or all. I have all.  My phone is always with me, it manages my busy life.  But when I do have a free moment to be home and relax, I don't need devices, unnecessary "toys" to find my phone.  And anything else I want can be quickly utilized on other electronics.  We all know the capabilities of an iPhone.  At home or on the move, I use my MacBook as it weighs next to nothing.  Or my IPad Pro.  All the basic things you describe that occupy your time can be done on any device.  With much more capabilities.
