How Many Men Are Hooked on General Hospital ???

I've been watching General Hospital off and on since its debut in 1963. I can remember telling my DH about certain episodes throughout the years (especially the Luke & Laura wedding segment) and he always said to me "How can you just sit there and watch that soap opera every day???"

To make a long story short, my DH retired in 2000 and guess what? I have a new TV buddy!! He is worse than I am!! He makes sure that his daily schedule revolves around being in front of the TV during the GH episode. He actually gets upset if something happens that doesn't make any sense, and is in tears when someone dies, both of which are usually a daily event. I try to console him and let him know that eventually that character will be back on again. Just be patient! He will actually have long debates and arguments over why certain characters do what they do. Geez........it's a soap opera......it's not supposed to make sense {#emotions_dlg.w00t}. Anyone else as lucky as me???
