I bought a Samsung Chromebook Pro August 16, 2017 from Amazon and got the 3 year protection plan from Assurant. I thought long and hard on this purchase ( I should have thought longer). From early on, every now and then the screen would freeze, touchscreen and mouse wouldn’t work, and I couldn’t shut the Chromebook down, I would have to leave the Chromebook on until the battery wore down. It didn’t happen often so I let it go, now it is happening more frequently. I called Amazon, they told me to call Samsung, they will tell me where I can bring it to be fixed and Assurant will pay for it ( he told me Assurant doesn’t do repairs they just cover them). Samsung says I am still under my warranty, so I am sending it to them. Does anyone know exactly how Assurant works, I will soon not be under my Samsung warranty and if I have a problem what do I do?
