How Do I Divide My Screen So I Can See Two Pages at the Same Time?

Hi. I have done this by accident, but I don't know how to do it when I need to. I Have 8.1, explorer 11 and Google Chrome. I Have a new HP laptop with 17" screen. I all updates. Does anyone know how to do this?

Push the window key and either the left or right arrow

You can go down in the bottom bar(where you see the clock) and put your cursor in any blank area of this bar. Right click and you will see a ""drop down box"". There you will find:

SHOW WINDOWS SIDE BY SIDE

Mindy D,

Remember you have to have at least 2 different windows open before this will work. Open 1 of the ones you want/then open the 2nd one. From there follow what I said and those 2 windows will open side by side.

Thought I would clarify this to you just in case.

OMG I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time. My husband is a computer geek and I've asked him a number of times but he said I have to learn these things on my own. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
