I recently bought a blu-ray player for my HDTV. My TV goes through an HDMI cable box (DVR) from Time Warner. I currently have a DVD player connected, which will be replaced by the blu-ray. My current configuration is: cable from wall to cable box, from cable box to DVD player, from DVD player to TV.
I've been told that a blu-ray connection is different from a DVD connection, in that all I have to do is hook up the blu-ray player to the TV. Can someone PLEASE enlighten me? I have the HDMI cable, just not the know-how!
