Help with missing driver for downloading photos from camera onto computer

Until just recently I have been able to remove my memory card from my camera and insert it into the appropriate slot on my computer and download my snapshots onto my computer for years. Suddenly, the driver supporting this function (I believe it was "Drive (F)" ) has just disappeared.

I am technically challenged regarding this type thing and for that reason, I never go into any of the systems programming, settings, etc., therefore, I couldn't have done anything to delete the driver. Can someone direct me as to how to find the driver and get it back on the list of drivers on the "My Computer" screen?

When I insert my SD Memory Card from my camera, I hear the little "ding" sound I always heard previously, but then the menu screen that always came up asking what I wanted to do never appears. I have checked "My Computer" and the "F" driver is no longer listed and I cannot locate it anywhere in "All Programs".

I have photos in my camera I would like to download onto my computer and I'm stuck.
