Help with buying MP3 headset/headphones

I want to buy a set of headphones that can store MP3 tunes and that I can listen to through the headset.  I don't know what this kind of thing is called.  I've searched a bit, and am so confused.

I don't want to connect the headphones to anything.  I want to be able to either download songs to the device, or put the songs on a memory card that goes into the headset so I can listen with no wires, chords or cables attached to anything once the songs are there.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and what type of device I'd be searching for?

Re: Help with buying MP3 headset/headphones

Headphones are separate than an mp3 player. If you want to be able to use cordless headphones then you need an mp3 player that has built in bluetooth. I'm not aware of any headphones that allow you to input a memory card directly into the headphones to listen to music.

Now days, most people just use their smartphone to listen to music, since it works as an mp3 player also and they have built in bluetooth.

Bottom line, you want an mp3 player with bluetooth and you'll need to buy a separate set of bluetooth headphones.

Thank you JaxsMom!  For some reason I thought there were such things as all-inclusive headphones that held SD memory cards that could be loaded with tunes, and then you could listen to the tunes through the headphone.  I'm guessing I've got a bit of a disconnect with the electronics of today...LOL

I've decided to buy an iPod with some comfy over-the-ear headphones...can't stand earbuds!  I don't usually care to listen to music from portable devices, but I've got some medical treatments coming up where music will help a lot with the passing of the time.

Thanks again for your help!

@madzonie   You might look at E231028 and see if it would fill your needs.  You'd need to have your music on a Bluetooth device like a cell phone or tablet.  You pair that device with these earbuds.
