Help with HP Photosmart Wireless E Printer

I am hoping some tech savy poster can help me with my printer problem.

I purchased an HP Photosmart ePrinter as a TSV a couple of years ago.

There is an E-reader type tablet on the printer which allows me to fax, scan, copy, etc. by pressing screen. It also allows me to access FB, email, etc.

The tablet is frozen and it won't go the "home" screen to allow me to fax, etc. Does anyone have any advice? HP will help for $100 = no thanks I would buy a new printer first.
