Help needed with correcting Yahoo groups!

Yahoo has suddenly started sending me emails from a group based in Dothan, Alabama. I lived near Raleigh, NC and have nothing to do with this group. I am a member of my local housing area Yahoo group and the emails from this group have stopped coming in to my inbox. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? I have researched Yahoo but cannot figure it out.
