Help--finally my dvd/vhs/recorder/player died--

{#emotions_dlg.scared}What do I buy? I have equal dvd"s & vhs tapes-I would like to record programs since I work weird hours. I am on an extremely tight budget, but, love QVC for the easy pay.

I get to pay monthly. I really haven"t thought about Blu-ray.

I have a Vizio HDTV--connected to cable--also own a Roku XD that I bought for $25.00.

So I need lots of suggestions.
