Many people on these forums advise not to buy a computer from Q - that they're over-priced, last year's models, and old technology. I wouldn't know myself but just wanted to be sure you heeded their warnings.

Maggie ... I would not purchase any electronics from QVC. ... not even their TSV's. They tend to sell older models at outrageous prices. They include extras that aren't worth it to try to justify the price. Personally i would recommend any Apple product .... and purchase directly from Apple.

This is true. You can do better just about anywhere. Check out Amazon.

I would check local big box stores online, because of Black Friday.

I saw a lot of email ads yesterday for electronics. Go online and check out the big box stores near you.

Between now and Christmas every paper will have ads for a computer that you can go and buy the same day.
