Help-Any Techies?

I received my much anticipated Kindle yesterday. I am having problems with my wireless connection; I have a D-Link router. When it asks for the password, I get denied, saying it's the wrong one. Soo, I messed around and found out how to change the password on the router. STILL, no go. I have had other visitors with their laptops here that couldn't connect either. This thing is locked but good. I don't even care if my wireless is secured or not at this point~ no one around here to tap into it. Any suggestions?
