Re: Has anyone ever bought a used tablet from Amazon?

You don't like Lenovo? I have a 10 inch, it was on sale at Office Depot $190. Very happy with it so far. It's the latest android, quick, bright, lighter than my Nook hd. About average battery life. I bought the replacement plan, so the store will replace it even if I drop it or whatever happens. At this price, I feel like I could buy a smaller one to use when the lenovo is charging,

Re: Has anyone ever bought a used tablet from Amazon?

My wife bought 2 of them. One was a Kindle Fire HDX, or something like that. So many kindle names I forgot, but she sent that one back because she did not like it. It was missing too many things, front and rear facing cameras.

Traded up to a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 and she is very happy with that one. Best price($100 cheaper) than any other retailer online at the time.

E.T.A. Oooops! Missed the word "used". Sorry, the ones my wife bought were new.

Even a refurbished Ipad is way more than I want to spend and I really don't need all the stuff an ipad will do. I just do e mail and come here to the BB mostly. I rarely even take my tablet out of the house.

Why not look at a kindle fire?? I love mine!!!

Re: Has anyone ever bought a used tablet from Amazon?

Something I've always wondered is if people have turned in phones, tablets, etc and not wiped off all of their personal stuff BEFORE they turn it in.

Has anyone ever gotten something that had the stuff still on it?

MY son-in-law does cyber security. He buys all of that stuff and resells it.

I never turn anything back in. I have the first cell phones I ever got. WHY? Well we used to donate our used cars to different charities. On two different occasions we found out people (through the VIN number) were able to find out all about us.

One guy called our house several times. When we asked how he got our number he told us.

I know it's good to donate them to help others (the emergency number). However, I'm keeping mine.
